Laborers & Contractors Training Center

The Construction Craft Laborer Training Center is located in High Hill, Missouri and encompasses a core curriculum that prepares Union Laborers for work in the construction industry. Specialized courses that target industry segments include concrete placement, pipe laying, trenching and shoring, and mason tending to name a few.


The Laborers & Contractors Training Center offers over 60 separate courses of instruction from 3-5 days in length. Classes cover General Construction Skills, Advancement Skills, Specialty Skills, Environmental Skills, and Health & Safety Classes.


These classes are at no charge for a union member working for a signatory and contributing contractor.

To apply for a class please submit an application for each class you wish to take to the Union Hall or online. Scheduling is handled by the Training Center. Applications are available online at the link below or at the Union Hall.

Apprenticeship Information


Sign up for Apprenticeship on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday prior to 10:00 am ONLY.


You will need to bring the following information with you when you apply at the Training Center-High Hill 


• Identification: Drivers License

• Social Security Card

• Proof of High School Grad or GED

• Letter of Intent

• Proof of any kind of construction hours that have been worked prior
